Wow, I really lucked out and ordered my '25 GT Convertible, see avatar, on October 16, 2024 and received it at my dealership in Murphy, NC exactly two months later, December 16, 2024. So far after 7 months of ownership I'm still in love with it. Yes, it was expensive, but at 75 (married to the same girl for 52 years) and having worked hard all our lives, why not? Could there be improvements? I guess so. But the only complaint I have is the touchscreen for just about everything, especially the temp/fan control and the auto stop/start which my '24 didn't have. Now I either hit the off button or drive in sport mode and happily go thru my 6 speed manual to oldies with the top down on a nice day cruising thru the mountains outside my front door. Life is good!

That’s crazy! Putting stop/start on a manual?!? At least Sport and Custom modes disable it in addition to the button.

I want to have a few words with you. I love the Mustang and look forward to my new one coming in. But really! A full year from ordered to receiving. It is bad enough that I am buying a high priced extravagance, but the wait has gotten longer every time I have ordered one.

And let's not forget the outrageous price increase even few months. To add insult to injury, Just about the time I am to receive my car that I have waited so patiently for, you start to put out incentives that look good, but in the fine print are not available to cars that have been ordered. Especially galling is the veterans discount. Why should a veteran not get a discount because they ordered a car to their specifications? Most businesses offer 5-10% discount to veterans and you wriggle out of less than 2%.

And let's discuss the unavailability to get desired options without it being part of a very expensive package or require an option not desired. I would love to have MagRide, but it is not offered without the Performance Package. MagRide is great, even for those who no longer track their cars and many of the roads I go on, have dips and speed bumps that are not compatible with the Performance Pack. It would be great on a long distance cruiser with the interstates chewed up by the heavy truck traffic. I have no issue with paying the additional price for MagRide, just don't want the Performance Pack.

Finally, think about making a smaller Mustang along with the traditional model. Something about the size of the old Capri. It does not need to have a V8. It would be better suited for the European market, and may even be suited for a hybrid model. If you can make the Mach E a Mustang, then surely there could be room for a smaller car that could compete with other small sport drivers. Rant over.
Some of the best forms of entertainment is watching entitled people not get their way 100% of the time especially boomers.

1- where have you been the last 6 years? Due to Covid, supplier issues, workforce issues, rare Earth shortages nobody walks in, orders a car and gets it in 30 days anymore. That ship sailed years ago. It took 10 months to get my GT500.

2- Why should a veteran pay less that anyone else for a car? Was Dearborn invaded and the Armed Forced set up a perimeter around Ford World headquarters?
No other manufacturer gives more than $500 active duty on certain vehicles, at certain times.
Once again your ENTITLEMENT is off the charts- If it makes you feel better I did get an EXTRA $7500 rebate on my 2025 PHEV Wrangler last month that was nice.

3- If you are complaining about bumpy road Ford does offer a nice compliant base suspension. You yourself said you are not tracking the car so PP is not needed. You did it to yourself.

4- As for size you do know the last 2 years of Challenger production the Challenger outsold the Camaro AND Mustang and guess what it was BIGGER than both. Your theory doesn’t hold water.

I saw a dealer video on Youtube saying all 2026 Mustangs will no longer have Universal Garage Door openers and the illuminated door sills are also gone. They did away with wireless phone charger as of my 2025 year. Pay more, get less?

That said, I love my car and feel lucky that a new one with 4 miles on it was just sitting there fresh off the trailer near perfectly specced. 20” wheels, 3.55 gears, 12 speaker system.
I forgot about the Homelink garage door openers.

That is something I use daily.

I have never understood the wireless charging thing as my phone does not use it, but then again my phone is normally plugged in via a USB cable for the Android Auto feature.

It used to be you could get universal replacement rear view mirrors with Homelink for short money, like under $100. I did one in my 16 Rav4 as it wasn't included in the trim level I got and to get it it would have been a $1000 for the package that did.

Now I don't know exactly what Ford has in the RVM module but I bet there is no easy way to swap out the mirror and stikk have everything work.
