Handling Package Splash Guards

Here is mine.

Those connectors on the bottom there are they special and specific to the guard kit? Im wondering because I would like to use them instead of the crappy plastic clips that are on there stock. And to me they look better and more secured. Mine also are constantly getting loose. Thank you in advance
