Can you adjust the fan speed with voice commands? I had a long term Ford Edge rental that had touch screen climate controls and I could never get the fan speed to adjust with voice commands.
Dragster,
To be honest I never tried. I seldom have a problem with Auto/fan speed. In most of the cars I've owned if your climate control is on "Auto" and you change the fan speed it will switch out of "Auto". However, if I remember I will give it a try and see if Alexa is willing to participate. Glenn

I just now got Alexa connected today and she's quite handy.

Love the Alexa Music free trial! I'm pretty sure I'll keep it. Radio stations are crap today, I don't like messing with my phone through the car, and just saying a few words to get what I want to listen to, want done in the car, and information I want is just really handy to have.

So far, Alexa hasn't been an issue in my car as I transition into this century.......Too bad she isn't here in the house to "step and fetch" for me or clean house. Maybe I'm asking for too much. It's all nothing more money won't solve...... In the meantime, I'll just enjoy Alexa in my car and Siri on the phone.

DM. I agree...the digital screens surprisingly didn't bother me once I sat in front of them. Good luck on your purchase!

BTW. Besides Alexa, don't forget about "OK Ford" I use that one.

X plan is the Ford promotion to sell cars at the Employee friends and family price discount. I got that on my car. I don’t know if it’s still active as a general discount. It was still going a few months ago on anything on the lot.

Ford's X plan is generally for Ford employees, family, and select business partners. As the Starship said above, it's being used as a sales incentive. It saved me a significant amount of money on my car over and above what I negotiated, even after it was ordered and before it was delivered. In a prior work life, I was eligible for it as a Ford Tier 1 supplier but Ford was so hard to work with, I swore I would never own one. So much for that now!

I'm sure I mentioned it on here before but I swore off Fords after my 1970 Ford Torino Brougham turned out to be a turkey and that's an insult to turkeys. I held out for 54 years but the 6G Mustang started me thinking maybe the Torino wasn't that bad. I wanted a Z but Nissan in another stupid decision decided not to build a convertible. I waited 2-3 years and pulled the trigger on my GT Vert! Glenn

Not mine but what it looked like:

Jeez, that Torino is beautiful! Shame it didn’t hold up. I had a 74 Gran Torino, and as an 8 year old car it was a hunk o’ shit. Parts literally fell off as I drove.

Meanwhile Ford sent me a satisfaction survey….one question was name anything I didn’t like about my new Mustang….I was stumped…lol. I can’t think of one thing I don’t like or love about this car! I am truly in awe of it.

It was a beauty in 1970. Too bad they didn't make the mechanicals work as good as it looked! Glenn
