Has anyone tried different manual transmission fluids ( other than motorcraft)
to get a quieter transmission or smoother shifts ? Any problems with other fluids ?

I've heard of people using Friction Modifier with 75W-140, but I never tried myself. I just use DCT.

The biggest change you can make is a Steeda or MGW shifter kit, followed by an aftermarket clutch setup. Beyond that, its knitpicking.
