Hmm. I doubt that either one varies much in reporting gas prices. Because that's our topic here, not politics.

Reporting of gas prices and actual gas prices are of course not the same thing. Alternative media worry much less about facts and verification.

Gas prices are what you see with your eyes when you pay and they are up significantly in the US, more so that the UK for some reason.

Premium is over $5 in some places in Arizona right now. Diesel is almost $7. Despite the Maga narrative, high gas prices aren't unique to California. Also California didnt start a war with Iran.

No, possibly for the first time in human history - or at least on a Mustang forum, @Gregs24 is correct ; the US is in the midst of a full on PANIC fuel pricing model, across all the Continental US, Alaska, Hawaii, US VI, Puerto Rico and probably every other territory. I do see some hint of people asking some uncomfortable questions on why, given how much crude we're unearthing - and how much we're exporting and importing. Hopefully there will be some wising up here.

There's a lot of stupidity factoring into the higher fuel prices here and definitely some states are far worse - Washington State and California seem to be in a "hold my beer" contest to see who can flex the most on fuel pricing. Even Oklahoma and Texas are closing in on $4 / gallon average for 87.

I don't need MSM to tell me 95 and 98 prices are over $3.50 litre here.
But I drove 600 km's over the weekend, and not once did I think about gas prices.
I was out for the drive, in a great car.
