Gas Mileage getting better

As the car is breaking-in, the gas mileage is getting better. 320 miles round trip.

I would consider your gas mileage very good.

I have owned 3 Mustangs each with the 5.0 engine. A 2015 GT premium, 2019 GT premium, and my current 2024 GT premium. Consistently, I average between 22 to 26 mpg. I now have just under 14,000 miles on my current Mustang. Anything over 26 mpg I would consider exceptionally good in my opinion.

I have never seen higher than 16.7 MPG on my GT PP

I've had the same scenario with my Eco-Boost. Brand new if was getting about 25 on the highway (based on the dash reading when delivered with 283 miles), and about 17 in town. Now, in town it is getting nearly 19. I have made a road trip since I got it. Fiction does its thing I suspect.
