Yes.

I just did the 2 day course in mid May. You get 1 day courtesy of buying the Dark Horse, the 2nd day add on is a LOT of track time and it is _so_ worth it. For my class, it rained part of both days.

I was more than a bit hesitant to campaign a Mustang on track in the wet, but my last Mustang was a ’97 SVT, so thing have improved a lot. I was genuinely surprised at how well these HP Dark Horses stick, even when it’s wet.
First day is an abbreviated zero to hero style class. They instruct you on what to do, how to do it, take you to the drift brake course and skid car exercise. Both were fun and instructive. I need to do more to learn the ins and outs of getting that drift brake done right. All of us struggled with it a little, but had fun trying. The skid car was really insightful too, they put you into low speed, exaggerated skids to prompt you to recover and then illustrate to you how to do it. Then, it’s on to the Autocross. You get several practice runs where you get feedback from the staff, who are all really knowledgeable. Then you get 2x timed runs. If you get the fastest timed run:

Then in the PM, it’s on to the r-oval. They take you out, show you the course, and you commence a series of “follow the leader” exercises where they push you to boundaries you probably thought out of reach. We started ours in the wet and it dried towards the end of day 1.
In the wet, you get to use slippery mode, which is freakin’ awesome btw. The cut in was so subtle, the first lap it happened, I didn’t even know it was there. It just felt like I was a bit slower out of the corner. The 2nd time I got on the gas earlier and t/c cut in until i got more grip. Once the track got dry enough, we used track mode.
Automatics are shifted manually throughout the course.

Getting to cut the Dark Horse loose is immensely fun. The brakes are nothing short of astounding. So long as you mind the brake markers ;-) On day one I hit the rev limiter in 6th on the straights, day 2 I was hitting the limiter in 7th . Passing is done only on the straights and you’re told bluntly to let faster traffic pass. Everyone did.

2nd day has only reinforcement classroom. For us, they reconfigured the track to a hairpin configuration because the morning was steady, but not heavy rain. This was really helpful, as it really let you focus on keeping the steering, throttle and brake input smooth. In the afternoon, it dried and we went for it in track mode again. 2x follow the leader sessions and then it’s all up to you.

Before I went, I even asked on here if the 2nd day, at 1800 smackers was “worth it”. I now know the answer and it’s YES.
