Help, I replaced the battery in my 24 GT and now the front turn signals do not work. The mirror and rear signals work fine but the front amber ones do not. The DRL’s work, and the ambers will come on when I hit the unlock, but when I use the turn signal nothing. The signal indicators on the dash have a weird blink also not a steady one as before. Fore’s can shows this for both sides. I have cleared the DTC’s and rebooted the modules, DTC’s stay clear until I use the turn signal and they show back up. Any suggestions?

I had my entire right headlight go completely out due to a dead battery. I tried everything (power cycling, disconnect reconnect) nothing worked I made an appointment with ford 2 weeks later and sure enough a day before the appointment it started working. I would say power cycle the car unplug negative for a bit and see if that works out for you.

I just replaced my battery at the dealer (yeah that hurt the wallet) but there is a battery reset and learn period. I read regardless of the instructions below, you lock the car and let it sit for 8 hours overnight kinda situation as well as this simple procedure if you haven't tried it yet.

Simple BMS Reset Procedure (works on most 2015+ Mustangs):Do this with the battery fully charged (important!).
  1. Sit in the car, close the door.
  2. Push the start button to turn ignition ON (engine OFF — don’t press the brake).
  3. Within 10 seconds:
    • Flash the high beams 5 times (pull the stalk toward you).
    • Press and release the brake pedal 3 times.
  4. Wait — the battery warning light on the dash should flash 3 times if successful (usually within 15 seconds).
  5. Turn ignition OFF, and you’re done.
