I am genuinely curious about the mindset behind this comment.

Based on what I have experienced so far on my iPhone after updating the app on Monday, this seems like an improvement over the previous UI (for the most part). If anything, this version seems much more "old fella" friendly with the larger text, especially on the primary vehicle landing screen.

I have 3 ford vehicles with the ford pass app. They forced an update on me that seriously reduced its usefulness. In the previous pass app the location would show you where the car was a long time ago. Swipe down and it would update to up to the minute. After the update it still shows you where the car was a long time ago but if you refresh it still shows you where the car was a long time ago. This app is now useless to me.

i have the scheduled start on. i go home at 15:00, so 14:55 gives it good time to get up to temp and cool down the interior

Only the automatics get the notation, us manuals get no departure schedule indication/notation

Does it txt or call when it does the scheduled start or does it silently start and run for 15 minutes and then shutoff? Just wondering about those cases you get interrupted on the way out.

it will give you a notification if the scheduled start was successful or if it failed, and even if the vehicle was already running
