Had not seen it elsewhere.

I suppose Ford would be happy to offer it as a choice, however counterproductive from a performance perspective, on the next MY GTD.
Yup, that’s why I hope Ford sees there’s value both in having the fastest thing AND in having the most fun thing too. Give us choices for both!

Personally I side more with fun than every last 0.001 of track time

This 1 million percent…. You can buy a used plaid for like 50k now … but I want experience… whether that being screaming blower whine or high RPM mechanical screams …

9.2 @ 155mph isn't an experience!?
I’ve driven a Plaid. It’s cool but after you have floored it a few times …it just has no character. And the 99.9 percent of the time you’re not flooring it … it’s like driving a really fast Camry

OK, the top line EV's are fast. But what gets me about ordinary EV owners is that they mistake instant low end thrust for power, and think that 0 - 100kmh in 6.5 secs is quick.
And, I agree with Mr Upacurb, there's no drama. I damn near giggle at every cold start, I'd be yawning with an EV.

Not to mention the Teslas can't turn well nor brake well. They're a one-trick pony. The accelerate really fast, but that's it.

Before the nay-sayers chime in - yes, I know they can be modified to turn and brake well but by that logic, so can every car.

I was shocked at the braking performance of some Teslas. If it goes quick I'd want it to stop quicker.

I think this is it. This guy said in an interview when asked about Ford's off-road supercar and if they were worried about the two completing for sales that the Ford version would be lower priced and higher volume, almost like he already knew what the Ford off-road supercar was gonna be. That would make sense if this company and Ford were partnered on such a vehicle... well it turns out this company is developing this off-road supercar with an established auto brand they called "massive".

They also said we'd get more details about the project in January and it just so happens that Ford's revealing a secretive new performance car in January. I just hope it's an actual mid-engine car with raptor style suspension and not a SUV.

I want it to be a RS variant like you were saying, but I still can’t shake the feeling that it’ll be a production T1+

I like the idea of modernized RS200

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what it ends up being. The references to Dakhar make the t1 thing seem more credible, but their CEO also keeps calling it a supercar and has vaguely hinted at the success of the off-road 911 and hurucan.

It could really go either way, but I really hope it's more the supercar route and not "Here's a another truck" Dakhar vehicles may be functional, but they're one of those types of race cars that's ugly as hell imo.

I'd be cool with that new RS 200 concept or that AI image above, they're just a lot cooler/better looking than something like the t1 imo.
