Thanks for the tip. Found the video and here's the direct link to the exact moment of the video for anyone else trying to reference this:

"What Ford said was, A-plan or below. That was their wording."

Not sure why people are saying the dealers can't go lower. Heard that on Reddit as well

Anyone know how to calculate employee pricing? Seems like numbers differ from dealer to dealer.

I visited my local dealership yesterday and they said I had until the end of June to take advantage of this particular deal. More specifically, I have until then to put in an order for what I want. Sounds like a dream potentially coming true, but I had some thoughts since that conversation...

1. I live in an area that has hot summers and lots of sunshine. I noticed lately on my 5y/o EcoBoost that the coloring on my cloth seats appears to be fading or discoloring in a number of spots, likely due to having to park outside my residence. Assuming I continue to do so with a new GT, would cloth/vinyl or leather fare better parked outside (301A or 400A)? I'm thinking of getting a rear sunshade to help alleviate that potential problem as well.

2. If I were to finance through someone who offered lower interest than Ford, what's the chance my dealership decides not to offer employee pricing?

3. Let's say I forego optioning the full spare as part of the GT. Would I be available to purchase it and any other add-ons like floor mats and such (separate from the financed car) later on?

I don't know if I'll finally do it or not, but any answers or thoughts would be highly appreciated. And I'll do my best to clarify anything as needed in return. Thank you once more!

1. Tint your windows up to your states maximum allowed. Use a sunscreen for your windshield.

2. As long as you buy/order during the program period, finance with Ford or not, you still get employee pricing

3. You can add anything at any time, it's just cheaper if it's ordered from the factory

Make sure that you get ceramic tint. Check the manufacturers specs for maximum UV rejection. Remember, it’s imperative that you do the windshield as well. 70/80% works well. Keep in mind the amount of darkness is really mostly for looks. Ceramic is what reduces heat and UV rejection.

Agree wholeheartedly, didn't want to say tint your windshield in fear of the following posts about how it's illegal and loss of vision putting everyone around them in danger 😂

You all say what you want but I negotiated what I considered a good enough deal to order a Mustang GT, the car came in and my dealer gave me a pretty hefty Ford employee pricing discount on top of the good deal I already made with them.

Why do you people bad mouth Ford when you have them? Get rid of them if you don't like them. I love mine. No issues, runs like a bat outta hell and it's a head turner in Race Red with the Nite Pony option and Active Exhaust.

There's a turd in every punch bowl...just keep it up and hate on Ford.

I think Ford offering me employee pricing on my new Mustang was a great thing. Besides the good deal I already negotiated with my dealer, they gave me Ford employee pricing on top of it, saving me even more.

Complaining about where Mustang parts are made just points out that a lot of people shouldn't have bought them in the first place. The U.S. economy can't stand on it's own, thus the outsourcing of some parts and assemblies by every auto maker.

Ford has at least 1200 Tier 1 suppliers and has historically had more than that because either Ford can't or doesn't want to manufacture every single part that goes in their vehicles. Would anyone really want Ford to manufacture everything? Think about it.
