I think most of us have seen the new RTR color shifting paint option, and most of us love it. I'm just saying Ford, if you're listening, bring back that style of paint, specifically the purple/teal color shifting color, to the s650. I don't care if it's like a 5 grand color option, I'll pay it šŸ˜†.

That mystichrome is pretty hot! It needs to be a special color that is as rare as it is beautiful and not as common as blue ember. Agree with a markup on it, but would expect it to fetch over $10k for what it is. Question for the factory workers here: Can the robots spray something that special, or does it require a human?

I suppose it depends on how blue ember is created, as that color has some pretty intense color shift that isn't super far off from this idea. I believe it can be done by a robot, I haven't heard of blue ember cars needing to be specially painted by humans.

RTR quotes around $10,000-15,000 to do it, but they're a small company without economies of scale and assembly efficiency working for them like it does for Ford. It stands to reason if Ford wanted to go this route, they'd be able to do it quicker, and more often, which could drop that price down significantly.

I don't think I want to see it more often. Then it's just another fancy color on hundreds of cars. For me, I want to see it on a very few cars. Maybe @RTR Vehicles should hold on to this one alone. Regardless, I'm really hyped to see this color in person someday.

5k isn’t even the cost of the paint.
It’d be a 20K option.

Hell… it’s been 10K for painted stripes alone from ford already.

i mean, its a 16K option that you can only get by spec'ing an RTR from factory which is a 7k minimum purchase so at least youre looking at 23K over sticker just for a mystichrome mustang
