Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary Package Limited Edition Draws on Classic Style of 1965 Original

This really pales in comparison to the 2015 50th Anniversary limited edition (1964 total) which was fully loaded with wonderful retro cues. You had the 50th Anniversary appearance package as well. The 2015 Kona Blue 50th is a stunner!

So far the GT/CS and now this really leave a lot to be desired. Ford used to generally kill with its special editions. God I hope they dont Fu(|{ up the GT500!

First off let me say, I love my 24 GT. Damn glad I didn't wait for the 60th AE, what a disappointment. After seeing this, along with some the last few moves on the Mustang, starting to make me doubt there will ever be a 70th.

Sure... then everyone will start to complain about how loud the road noise is and how the V8 has been replaced with a twin-turbo V6.

Thank the EPA/CARB for slowing down overall engine performance and whomever it is that requires vehicles to meet a certain safety standard.

Just saying. Ford has been able to keep their head above water whereas Stellantis and GM have thrown in the towel. And don't forget, Ford has to use these weird things called credits (as well as, I believe pay for) to continue to sell V8 consumer-grade vehicles (i.e. Mustang and F-150) due to their overall fleet of vehicles don't meet the required fuel economy (also dictated by Washington and other parties) across their consumer-grade vehicles.

It's the 60th anniversary, not the 50th or 100th. They probably didn't even do anything for the 30th or 40th. Can't expect more than badging and decals every ten years for an anniversary lol

To think you're going to get anything more than badging and decals every ten years for an anniversary edition is ridiculous. Just finding things to complain about. The 60 year anniversary edition wasn't made to appeal to you or users on this forum. It's moreso a social media item for them to promote 60 years.

Lol most of the people in this thread have S650s. They have done every anniversary edition since the 20th. The 50th was lame itself (I had a 50th anniversary "appearance package"), but this doesn't even look like they tried. At least they are only making 1900 of them
