Finally in production!

After waiting for four months, my Mustang is now in production and I have a window sticker! What does this mean as far as timeframe of getting my car? I'm on the west coast.

September 6th is your BLEND DATE which means all the various parts should be assembled on/by that day. It may take a day or two after.

My BLEND DATE was 08/08/2024 however it was not actually built until until Aug 18th.

Ahh I see, well I guess I've waited so long that another month or two wont matter.

FWIW my blend date was Oct 20, 2023 and I got the email that it was built and done that day. That was on a Friday. She shipped the following Wednesday. Took 1 week to get to the railyard in Birmingham from New Boston. It sat for 2 weeks at the railyard in Birmingham before I was notified the dealer had it. Congrats, man! Exciting times!

Congratulations! Mine went into production on 8/12/24. Blend date was 8/20/24 and it still shows in production. I have heard that there have been issues updating to built. I am in Indiana so not far away from the plant so hopefully it will arrive soon. Dealer didn’t have any updates for me.

Remember since we live in LA your car will be on a truck driving across the US so it might take a few extra days. And thats great news, can't wait to get mine late this year or maybe beginning next year.
