Yes after 10 long weeks, it showed up. I have decided to let a trusted shop do the install. They did my whipple Gen3 and it was perfect.

Install is Thursday. I already have my base tune written for it. I will be street tuning the kit all weekend.

The plan for this is to just do the base G3 kit with all the base options. No fuel system or injectors. Just as cheap as possible - on 93.

Once I get my base tunes for 93, I will see how far I can push the completely stock fuel system with e20/30 and if it will take it, e40.

Then I can start doing my ghost cam and pop flame tunes.

I figure the majority of folks will need tuning for the base kit on 93. After all this and some track testing, I'll order up Derel's fuel system and some ID1050x injectors and see what I can do on E85 with it. Should be fun@@

I'd like to run 9s on pure 93 with nothing but a drag radial or full drag pack. That would be a great formula for folks looking to get into the 9s with a modest investment.

Im sure like the gen3, this kit will be the top seller going forward. Mine was $6900 delivered from Graveyard performance. G3, 120mm pulley and all the default options.

UPDATE:

Going well. I’m tuning it slow on the street. It absolutely rips on a conservative tune.

Man I'm jealous, and I'm not the jealous type.

I did the Whipple Stage 1 on my 2024 and I would never go Whipple again.

Great choice.

You’re going to run it on the stock injectors or the GT500 55lb?

Stock for now. See how far they will go. I can push in some PI to help but I’ll have a close eye on everything for sure.

Stock didn’t work at all, we tried it. It goes lean immediately and closes the throttle. Going to need the 55lb injectors at a minimum.

So currently I have close to 40% headroom on full E85 on a stock car. So you're saying with a 120mm pulley on 93 it wont support the power at all? dropping to 93 should buy another 20-30%, then add the difference from .82(ish) lambda NA to .78 for boost and you are past out of injector? That sounds crazy, and that wouldnt even be pushing in any PI offset to the warm table to help out the DI side.

Well I guess I'll find out lol since the kit is going on tomorrow and I dont have a set of injectors to install. I will get some on order though. Thanks for the heads up.

Yep there’s a reason nobody runs the stock injectors on any boosted gen 3/4. It runs out of PI immediately. We were on the 125 pulley with Wengerd tuning it on 91. The pump seems to hold up better without a BAP though.

Well if Derel was on the knobs then I’m not going to waste my time with trying. I’ll order some ID1050x’s and move on. lol. Thanks for the heads up.
