Square pop-up "Engineering mode" popped up on the dash momentarily on startup today. But another startup message soon superceded it and the Engineering mode message did not persist, so I couldn't grab a pic.

Anyone ever had this before? It's been raining here, and with all the water leak issues I'm paranoid about an electrical short or something.

Engineering Test Mode is kind of like FORScan. Kind of. It's something of a hidden diagnostic mode, accessible via on-screen menus.

There is an Engineering Test Mode in the 6G.

I'd think it's possible to enter the same mode in the 7G, but not sure how to accomplish it.

Edit,

Here's a thread on how to access it.

Maybe entered by mistake and need to exit? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️. IDK. I've never used that mode or accessed the menus.

I've had the Engineering Node prompt pop up on my screen several times now. I believe all have been on start up; nothing I've done to try and access it. 🤬🤬🤬 computers!
