Dumb Question-- Rev Limiter

GT Auto here... So while doing some tests inside the car the other day while in park, I managed to accidently mash the accelerator for a second. I noticed the car started sputtering like I hit the rev limiter. Is there a rev limiter when in park/neutral ? I didn't notice the RPM.

It's actually really cool that Ford uses the Rev Hop like that! Sounds awesome.
