Dashboard and display rattle - FIXED!

Hi! I had a nasty noise coming from the front all the time. I removed the display and found that some of the clips had a few millimeters of play. After taping them up and applying gun oil, I installed the monitor back and now the car is quiet.

In the heat the plastic becomes soft and the back cover of the display starts to make noise when driving. Carefully smeared it with glue and now there is silence.

Yes, I bent the back cover back as far as possible and smeared it with superglue. Not the best option, but it worked for me. Ideally, you need to completely remove the display, disassemble it and glue it from the inside, but I had neither the time nor the desire.

can you describe how to remove the monitor so that I can access the clips to tape and lube them. Thanks for the info. I have the rattle when sun is hitting the dash and the a/c is on.
