Stupid question maybe, but what does this entail? Wouldn't mind some more HP without voiding warranty and increasing my insurance (aka installing a supercharger).

They already tuned it as far as they want to warranty/support. That's why it has 'more power' than the GT

I would be surprised if they don't come up with some sort of tune that will be available once the end of the NA current model has run its course. They put a fair amount extra into the internals of the NA DH Coyote engine.

Once it's off warranty is the only time I would ever consider it. But at the same time is it going to make a noticeable difference, or just a perceived difference?

So just installed. Butt dyno feels the difference especially at lower rpms. Going to have to recalibrate my right foot. Discount still on i believe through end of month. $684 tune/RTD4/4CREDITS

Point taken but what stops them from taking Consumer's money for an add-on?? Money is money and they would definitely have mines should they make that available and I’m sure many more customers would also buy. The whole DH and GT Horsepower tune thing is valid but this is a purchasable item.

Car is daily driver A10. Only mod, AWE cat back. Also, only did intial drive in traffic. So butt dyno says you can feel low end torque. First noticed going out of drivewayx, then when passing. I messed up and didn't do any timed events before install. Plus there are driving modes to go through as well and checking out shifting. I'm not going to be doing any other mods or E85. Getting ready to do last data log for them, 3,500 to 7,500 in ,4th gear. Trying to find a good road where I can do, because this is about 44mph to 100mph, plus play with phone which TDN datalog software is on. If you look at the dyno run, there is a lot of meat up top as well. So, for $684 (w tax) total, its an option. Sale ends 31 March, and I have not seen HP Tuners RDT4 be discounted recently, so $460 for HP and $220 for tune.

So Palm Beach Dyno has a promo for a NA Tune and HPtuner RTD4 for $150 off.

The red lines end before the blue lines.

Does this mean that the pulls were in different gears?

In other words, they hit the top speed limiter doing the stock baseline, but did not doing the PBD custom tune. Also, notice the peak hp figure is at a little higher rpm in the tuned version.

6th gear and 7th gear pull in the video below (7th is 1:1, but Whipple says not to do dyno runs in 7th)

This is video they posted. Being a daily driver, i'm looking at low to mid range torque, not peak hp. Also, area under the curve, not peak. I'm not saying they are the best, only that its an option and reasonably priced.

They are aftermarket, they can do whatever they want. Just like companies that sell you a cold air intake that adds 20hp.

Ken says they pulled out early on the 414.68hp run

The 441.54hp pull is in that video too
