I drive mine year round too, winter temps get to the single digits here. I was worried it would be miserable but was rather surprised how quickly the knob warmed up, it was comfortable to me after like five minutes of driving. The little metal piece displaying gear patter on MT-82s felt worse with cold. The blue finish is another story. Not even a full year yet and most of it looks silver. Not sure what kind of cheap coating Ford used but I'm not impressed. I don't think I have crazy hands or anything and I use Nextzett Cockpit Premium to clean as I've done on all my cars without issue.I have that knob on my Dark Horse. It's freezing cold inthe winter and can get very hot in the summer. All winter i drove with gloves on. This afternoon, after the car sat in the sun ,the knob became too hot to touch.Though I have to admit, it does look pretty cool.
Yes. The price is one of the most ridiculous things ever. If you get the tremec, cool... but if your car didn't come with it it's not worth it.$500 for a shift knob???
