Dark Horse and other s650 recall about black screen puts delivery hold for 5 months

Delivery in UK is on hold. My new dark horse has been sat at dealers since new year. No date given for a fix as Ford UK currently saying they don’t have one. Ordered Feb 24! What a way to run a business.

No sign of a recall on my uk car (and was built during the time frame, although the numbers effected are pretty much the number built during the time frame) and plenty listed for sale on autotrader at present unless you're price locked find a new dealer,
they're probably down on there EV quota and don't want to pay the fine.
My dealer has never had a hold on my24 mustangs but then ford barely communicates anything with the uk or their dealers.

That’s interesting, I thought the regulations might be even stricter in UK

communication from Ford side has been terrible which makes the situation worse.

we in AU do not have an option to pick another car because only a limited number of Dark Horse were allocated which were sold out in advance. So we have choices but to wait for the car allocated to us by Ford if we want to be first owner. Otherwise pay higher price and buy a second hand vehicle, which beats the whole purpose of booking a car and waiting for over 2 years for a car.

I have 24 Dark Horse It's happened to me 3 times last one was today will take it to dealer here in United Arab Emirates to check hopefully they have software update for it

I just received a notice in the mail that they have a software update available; at least here in Canada.

Have this scheduled for April when the Whipple goes in. Also going to get them to check the transmission fluid and top it as required.

Well the fix arrived here 2 weeks ago. Collected mine on Saturday and it’s all good. If it’s out here it should be available anywhere? Good luck all.
