Dark Horse Air Strakes.

The dealership I bought my Dark Horse from didn't install them and left them in the trunk. Along with the shipping blocks. What's the thoughts on them?

Same here, installed them the other day actually.

I think it’s worth it, you paid for them when you bought the car, and if you can reduce the turbulent air going to the rear wheels, why wouldn’t you?

I’m sure everyday driving, you won’t notice anything really, but I’m sure they make a difference on track.

It takes about 10 min, if that for each side.

I figured I would put them on when I get it off the ground. I do a lot of highway driving so I was wondering if I would notice the differecene.

I was ambivalent about them, but since the shipping blocks had been left on, just asked them to install the strakes while it was on the lift.
Haven't scraped the speed bumps yet so that's a plus.

Had it on then removed it because I anticipate the dealership is gonna lose them when I bring in for oil changes which will be free for the next 5 years for me.

Do you ever notice a difference between having them on/off with highway driving?

You can install them easily on the ground..Just cock the wheels one way, then the other to do each side.

And I think most dealers dont remove the undertray to do an oil change. They take the left front wheel off and use a form-a-funnel to change the filter. They don't want to take all those bolts out either. Or break the plastic fasteners.

I haven't put mine on yet, but my goal is to do my best to make this an overall great street car that goes to the dragstrip from time to time, I have no plans to hit a road course. However, I did add the HP front splitter for the more aggressive looks.

When I hear even more downforce I think, "How much will it slow the car down in the 1/4 mile?" I saw the HP Gurney flap slows these cars down ~2 mph in the 1/4.

Would be curious if these strakes have been tested for that.
