Never thought about the charge status being an issue. Bluetooth while a constant drain on the phone, is not at a rate that would cause it to not power other things on the phone or itself. In general looking this up, I see BLE is 1-3% of total power usage during the day for this type of usage like streaming and CarPlay.Thanks. I had read some reports of occasional Bluetooth (in general) issues when the phone was below 80% charged so was curious. Since your reply indicates corded that would seem to indicate not a power problem.
Pulled this from an AI summary on a google search " Modern Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology has significantly reduced power consumption, so the difference is usually insignificant and not a reason to disable it for battery saving. The main factor in Bluetooth-related battery drain is constant, high-bandwidth use, such as streaming audio." This was my understanding as well before searching.
My phone seems to do this regardless of the charge status. My phone battery had degraded down to 78% (max capacity) and I had it replaced about a year ago at Apple. It is now 86% max capacity.
