I know its not a battery issue, so we can discount that right off. I have a voltmeter coming off amp and she likes to sit around 14.8-15.2 most of the time.

Lately, though when I turn off the car I hear the gallop sound and the usual motion sensor on/off prompt appears on the screen. Now, the usual thing is when I turn off the car that will appear on screen, but never had the gallop sound for that.
The strange part is that when I come back out to the car the next time I open the door the chime changes to a do-dee-do higher pitched sound. So I turn the key, start the engine, and immediately it switches to the gallop sound.

Figure its some weird quirk, or once again some update randomly resets my settings. Happened about 3 times now over the course of 14.4k miles.
Wondering if anyone else has seen this happen lately?

I sometimes get the chime instead of the gallop when I switch the ignition on, I haven’t been able to work out why or replicate it deliberately. I don’t get either sound if I close the door and put my seatbelt on before switching ignition on though, so I’m wondering if it’s just a glitch rather than a warning for something different other than door open/put on seatbelt.

When I first got my 2024 EC, the gallop sounded as you entered. After about 5 software upgrades, during which it sort of varied when it appeared, but now the only time I hear it is when I open the door and the gear select isn't in park. Weird to say the least.

One of the modules makes a decision, very early on in the (I think) key on process and if it decides 'not enough battery', you get the tinny, center speaker sound. It doesn't really matter if you have a brand new battery at max strength or not, it matters what the module reads - rightly, or wrongly.

I was able to recreate pretty easily of late. My intercooler pump comes on at key on, which helps with purging air from the system, until it takes 45+ minutes ... After about a dozen key on, wait for intercooler pump, shut off, purge air, repeat, I got the tinny chimes instead. But after a drive, right back to normal.
