I know its not a battery issue, so we can discount that right off. I have a voltmeter coming off amp and she likes to sit around 14.8-15.2 most of the time.
Lately, though when I turn off the car I hear the gallop sound and the usual motion sensor on/off prompt appears on the screen. Now, the usual thing is when I turn off the car that will appear on screen, but never had the gallop sound for that.
The strange part is that when I come back out to the car the next time I open the door the chime changes to a do-dee-do higher pitched sound. So I turn the key, start the engine, and immediately it switches to the gallop sound.
Figure its some weird quirk, or once again some update randomly resets my settings. Happened about 3 times now over the course of 14.4k miles.
Wondering if anyone else has seen this happen lately?
