The center screen blanks out when I use Google maps about 30% of the time only on the right part of the screen. Does anyone else have similar issues with CarPlay?
i also noticed that symbols still showing so the screen is not completely out on the right side. When I switch in the same session to other apps like Apple Maps or main menu the center screen looks fine.
Now I just reset the screen by holding a few seconds the forward button and volume down on the steering wheel. I found out in this helpful forum of Mustang enthusiasts that Ford is aware of CarPlay issues and they are working on a update this coming winter of 2024.
See below the issue with Google Maps on first photo and how menu and Apple Maps work fine.
