I’m shocked this car has lost this much value
I'm not. When you have artificially inflated car values it may seem like a shock when reality sets in and it's true value is shown. A plain ass GT should never be mid-high 50s regardless of trim level, so when the used market is saying a lightly used one is low 40s it seems like a shock. But when reality the new GT should be mid-high 40s that drop doesn't seem as bad.

It’s funny, I was looking at a used ScatPack with 3,889 miles it was only $4k less than MSRP but the Mustang GT is $15k less than sticker?? Crazy. I do miss my Scat though

When I was looking last September 2023, all the used cars, no matter the brand, were ridiculously high in price. So it was like buy a used xxxyyy for $48k or a new xxxyy for say $51k. And the dealers wouldn't budge on price of used cars. For me it was a no brainer, I went new no markup and X-Plan + a little more off.

I’ll have my Mustang and my ScatPack and not give a Shit what you think.
I couldn't agree more. Just wish I could add a new Z06 as well but I guess I'll just have to be happy with what I got :)

Well I'm getting rid of the 2012 Chrysler T&C family hauler with 110k miles on it and Carmax offered me $2k more than Carvana. I have an appointment next week so we shall see. The car, while nice for a family truckster, is a money pit.

Out of curiosity I shipped my car around at CarMax, Dodge dealer and Chevrolet dealer. Pretty much $42k to $44k. I’m shocked this car has lost this much value
C-19 is over welcome back to the real world.

It's highly annoying what this market has done.. but...

The loss I'm am seeing now, would have been as much if I waited till now, and traded my Timberline. That vehicle's trade has gone down $7-$8k since Sept of '23 when I got my GT. It all evens out.
