Resale value is sad, anyone know why?

The S550 started at a sane price. The S650 started at the tail end of the used car mania and prices only went up from there. Sticker prices on the 650 have been bonkers mad from day one.

And the MSRP were stupid to begin with b/c the US .gov was trying to shove EV's down everyone's throat, with Ford, Dodge, GM all willfully complying. Every model they developed were money losers and the loss had to be amortized across the model lines. A new Raptor R is a great truck, but it wasn't $15-20k more truck than the TRX, reputation notwithstanding.

I dunno man, I don't remember exact numbers but I was Mustang shopping right before Covid and they were damn cheap. They went up at least 50% in the next year or two.

yeah, Covid upended everything. Some of the S550 worshipers are fixated on the idea that their car is somehow superior the same way the 2010-2014 Raptor owners are.
