I was curious of the Porsche break-in procedure.

https://yel.pca.org/porsche-engine-break-in/

While the date of this article is 2011, the comments within it align with the previous post, virtually all of the most recent Porsche threads and many Porsche Owner Manuals: keep below 4,000 RPM the first 2000 mi / 3600 km, no hard launches or race mode. Probably 20% of the thread comments set that aside, the Owners then "drove it like they stole it" from day one.

My opinion on the Coyote is those engines that are babied (Lack of heat cycling, poor engine loading, lugging, high fuel wash, etc.) are at greatest risk of long-term issues. This doesn't guarantee problems, but it elevates the chance they'll occur. Most manufacturers really. YMMV.

Bought a new Porsche 911 in 2021 (now sold due to bad knees and 6' 4" tall) and the break-in was 2000 miles at or below 4000 RPM. The computer keeps track of RPM "events" and it is a known fact that engine warranties have been voided due to multiple runs up past

redline during or after break-in.
I'm 6'4" and I think there's more leg and head room in my 2014 911 S than in my Mustang Convertible.

I knew the party was over when my knee replacement came loose and the other knee was shot as well. Once I fell into the 911 I was OK....getting out was brutal. The S650 is a little easier but still a pain. Really hard part was giving up motorcycles...
