Very excited to get my DH Manual. When I got my 2006 GT back in 2006 I had to get an Auto at the time. For 18 years I have been dreaming about a manual GT. I had driven a friend's manual S197 & S550 but not for very long.

Right around 937 miles I noticed difference in the Tremec. It was smoother. I keep hearing the term "hot knife through butter" and now that's exactly what it feels like.

Anyone else notice a difference in their automatic or manual transmission after break in period? Just curious if other people have experienced this or is it just in my head.

Manual tranny’s definitely have a break-in period and will smooth out quite nicely. Haven’t noticed anything on my A10 after 3,500 miles. It was pretty good out of the gate.

The Tremec on my ’16 GT350 and ‘20 ZL1 both got better with age.

Do you mean the Tremec got even better beyond the first 1000 miles?
