Has anyone experienced sudden brake fade?
For me its intermittent and when it happen my Mustang needs 3/4 brake pedal depressed to stop and one activated the ABS.
no lights or warnings on the dash.
I an going to have the dealer check if the pads are glazed over but really wondering if anyone had experienced it.
stops fine 95z% of the time. Very strange..

Replace your brake fluid for peace of mind and just because. It's DOT 4 which is hygroscopic.

That likely isn't your problem since the issue happens "suddenly" but while I'm working on brakes, I'd replace the fluid, but that's just me.

I used to do it often when I raced bikes and it can make a huge difference sometimes.

Not normal. Somethings not right. Take it in and have the system checked.

Absolutely not normal. I’ve never experienced brake fade on the street or track in mine. Definitely get it in to the dealer to find out the issue.

I don’t think that’s normal. I have a little more miles on mine and if I hit the brakes too hard I almost eat the steering wheel. Same brembo brakes.
