Okay, one more redundant post, because I think today's experience puts a nice little bow on top of all the test drives I've recorded in this thread.

Today I test drove a somewhat lightly driven S550 GT Premium without the Performance Pack. If there's any advantage the S550 has over the S650 for me, it's the steering feedback. That weightier feel, despite it not translating to as precise turns in action, feels more satisfying than in the S650.

Ultimately though, after I finished this test drive, I concluded that I am going to be just fine driving my EcoBoost for the next few years (or however long I'm able to keep it running). Put another way, I'm at peace not having a GT right now or in the near future. And with that, thanks for letting me ramble on about my test drive experiences . If I ever do this again, I'll probably make a new thread...or more likely, just keep it to myself going forward.
