Blend Date

My car is showing a blend date of 08/26/24. Can someone give me a straight answer on what that actually means? The tracking site has it in production for the last two weeks, and I can't get any other info that just that.

That's the day it goes in production can take a few days to finish if they are waiting on wheels or painted roof or something like that.

Mine took 8 days to move from IN PRODUCTION to BUILT.

It is also sitting for 9 days awaiting shipment despite saying SHIPPED.

Moral of the story is take that tracker with a grain of salt lol

Good Lord. Pure torture. My GT500 took 4.5 months from order to dealer in 2021.

yeah the wait can be a PITA but it is what it is. The delivery is supposed to be sept 9th so it will have sat for 3 weeks.

Apparently when your modules populate on this site your car is pretty much built.

I see the blend date as when the chassis and body come together.

The car is partially built before blend and continues to be built, post blend.

In '22, I started production on Day 0 (Memorial Day Weekend), blend on Day 10 and was built by Day 13.
