I know there have been a few threads asking if it’s possible to get black tips on the active exhaust without replacing the whole axle-back just for black tips.
This has also been talked about on the 6G forums, but I never found a definitive answer, so I wanted to make this post for anyone like me who hated the silver tips but didn’t want to buy a whole new exhaust system just for the look.
There are a few slip-on covers out there, but most don’t hide the silver tips very well, and at around $400 that’s honestly absurd. I found these through a 6G forum post, so huge thanks to those guys for tracking them down:

They fit perfectly over the stock tips and just tighten down with an Allen key. For some reason, I had to tighten the right side substantially more than the left to keep it from moving, but other than that I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
A few people on the 6G forums mentioned using exhaust wrap underneath to help them tighten better, so I may still do that on the right side later.
