Battery voltage

When I scroll through the data with the steering wheel up button, it shows battery voltage as 15 V. Pretty good in this freezing weather. But the picture of the battery in the right hand corner of the electronic display looks only half way,

I suspect it’s a static instead of a dynamic icon.

Although, I’m thinking 15 (unless you’ve got a banger of an aftermarket stereo upgrade) indicates the battery may in fact be a tad low. 15 - 14.5 makes me think the battery is being charged at max rate and when it drops to 14 (operating) it’s topped off.
