I only have 200 Miles on my DH but today when driving I was scrolling through display and noticed that the voltage is only 13 volts. During the trip it jumped to 13.5 at one point then back down to 13. I am used to vehicles that put out a range from 13.8 to 14.2 what are you seeing on your center display?

It depends if your battery needs to charge or not. If it was at 13 volts, you're battery is charged and the alternator doesn't need to be putting out a higher charge.

Thought I would test it with the Fluke Meter and idling in the garage it shows 13.8 measured at the battery terminal block and the dash reads 14v. Curious what others are seeing driving down the road.

It appears that the display only reads in half volt increments. Mine has shown 13, 13.5, 14, and 14.5.
I think my S550 Mustang was the same way.

I put the meter on the battery and it read 12.5 volts, started car and it read 12.5 volts and slowly rose to 14.2 volts, revved engine to 2000 rpm and voltage dropped to 13.2 volts. I just had the battery replaced and was convinced the alternator was bad. Took it back to dealer and got a lesson on modern electronics. Like every thing else on this car, a computer runs the alternator. In this case the PCM meters power as needed to the electrical system. The tech demonstrated how it works by putting the meter on the battery and it showed 12.5 volts and then he turned on the lights and the meter went to 13.5 volts. Turned the lights off and the meter slowly started coming down. Driving around you will see anywhere from 12.5 volts to 14.5.

we’ve noticed 12.5, 13.0 and saw 15 this morning but are now back down to 13.0.
