Base Model - Door Sill Upgrades?

Hey All,

I have a base model 2025 gt with the basic black door sill plates. I would like to replace them with something with a bit more visual appeal. I am not worried about trying to get ambient lighting out of the sill plates as I understand the wiring is not there to easily enable that on base models even with the 301a package.

From ford I have seen the ford performance sill plates as an option for around $175. But I am wondering if there are other options out there that would work.

For example these s550 illuminated sill plates would look better than a plain black sill plate, and for $50 seems like a steal. Just dont plug them in.

Are we the sill plates backwards with s550s? Are they backwards compatible further? Any specific sill plate suggestions?

You can try a carbon fiber option, those looked amazing.

I can confirm these will work on the S650's.

But my base model 300A package did not have the plug to make them light up

Yeah I’m not really worried about having illuminated door sills. Just something that perhaps looks a bit nicer than the stock plain black door sills.

Did you put these on your car? How do they look if you did? Picture?

I got a pair of these, I think they were for broncos… fit right over the mustang logo..
