the reason I ask is KONG makes a dog harness that uses baby seat attachment points.

Thanks, I did look at the manual but couldn’t make sense where the third attachment point is.

In plain sight in the fastback... may be a bit harder to find in the convertible.

Ended up finding a YT video to find them.
Had to partially open the top and the back ones are covered with a plastic cap.
Next challenge is finding a seat cover. Ford has one for the coupe but not the cnv.
