Spank the monkey? Visit Mrs Palm and her 5 daughters? One off the wrist?I think he's saying he like to jerk it and work it like his Ding-dong. You know, wank it and spank it. Like they say in East London, E's a bloody wanker 'e is. If he wants to play with his stick shift to each his own.![]()
I get it. The essence of bike riding as well. Now they're making auto bikes, bloody heresy.Yeah, no doubt, but I’d get my ass whooped by a Tesla too and I sure don’t want one of those, but to each their own. For me it’s the joy of using 4 limbs to drive instead of two, the rhythm, the coordination.
Yeah, I ride too. I have a buddy with an automatic FJR. I'm like... why bother?I get it. The essence of bike riding as well. Now they're making auto bikes, bloody heresy.
Yeah, I never ever thought, I'm really sick of shifting gears. How about a hand clutch and foot shift in a car?Yeah, I ride too. I have a buddy with an automatic FJR. I'm like... why bother?![]()
Thats sad I'm in my 60's and I love my Tremec 6 spd. Still to young and my body parts work well enough That I can't give it up and go auto I'm not that old yet. I can even drive and shift even in that so scary daily driving traffic. If I get to my 70's I might look at an auto but will see if I get there.Buy what you want! Period! Both transmissions have their good and bad points. Personally, after owning BULLITTS and Shelby's with manuals, I finally went with the 10 spd auto in my 2024 GT. I had my fun but at my age I like the edge that the A-10 gives me. I do a lot of short trip city type driving. The A-10 makes life easy for me. If I want to act a bit crazy, it's got modes and paddle shifters.
The 6 spd is fun to drive. You can wind it out, power shift, and play all kinds of games with sound. Get it out of your system....
If you use the car as a daily driver...get the A-10!
No clutch just pedal, what’s next no kick start? But hmm … can you skip a gear or two?Yeah, I ride too. I have a buddy with an automatic FJR. I'm like... why bother?![]()
Like they say in New York. Woikin' it and joikin' it.Is it rud

No, no, no, that won't work. There is too much logic here. After 10 pages of this, the OP has probably worn out a Mustang with one of each transmission. It's just one of the smaller decisions a person makes in life. Let him/her just buy a car. He did want an honest opinion, that's the real problem, LOL...Buy what you want! Period!
