Not bad at all.
Although speed does impact the result. (Just to confirm/second your findings) - the image is from the same (earlier in its life) car just less stop and go, higher average speed.

Another amusing thing recently.
A Polestar set an EV range record of 581 kms on a charge. On mostly flat roads in Norfolk and an average speed of 25 kmh!
A few days later a Star Pole (Polish Rally driver) set an ICE record in a Skoda Superb of 2831 kms on one tank. That's 2.6litres per 100kms or just under 100 US mpg at an average speed of 85 kmh from Sweden down through Germany and back home.
Then he filled up in 3 minutes beating the Polestar team by an hour.
(I'm making the last bit up.)

I would have to go back and verify in an earlier post but I think my average for 3700 ish miles was 20.2. Now that I've made a somewhat reasonable throttle controlled highway trip, the average climbed a bit. I'm going home tomorrow and I expect the lifetime average to go up a little more even though it will be a hilly trip.

No need to drive so slow in the Mercedes CLA with a range of 500 miles at normal speeds.

Not sure why it is 'amusing' - bizarre comment about a technical result. Do you find it amusing when your kettle boils in 2 minutes?

“Study finds EVs now match ICE cars in lifespan

The study underscores the rapid progress of BEVs, positioning them as a competitive and sustainable alternative to traditional vehicles on the road today.

“EVs, gas vehicles have nearly same lifespan: study
British researchers used real-world data to determine gas cars lasted on average about 18.7 years, versus 18.4 for EVs

Not really a surprise considering ICE and EV cars are mostly the same except for the motive power. Cars are scrapped for many reasons most of which have nothing to do with the engine or electric motor / battery

Interesting MPG figures. I'm at 3952 miles (never reset) on Trip 2 with 14.1 MPG. Mine sees far more stop and go traffic than highway and I always disable Start/Stop as it's programmed on my Custom mode to shut that useless and annoying feature off.
The mpg doesn't really settle down until 5k miles or more when the engine is fully bedded in. My S550 would manage 34 mpg (imperial) on a motorway run with cruise control at 80mph, but was much less than this in the first 5k miles. Same run in my S650 is currently 29mpg and still improving at 5k miles.

You guys need to try harder! No economy run either as the average speed is 68mph and it got even better later.

I'm trying as hard as I can to have fun, make noise, and not worry about fuel economy. If I was worried about the fuel economy, I would have bought an Ecoboost.

On a 4 hour motorway journey the car is a perfectly economical GT hence why I use it as a daily. I am not 'worried' about fuel economy just happy with what it does at 80mph on the cruise control. We cannot get the Ecoboost anyway.

What are we arguing about now guys? UK cars? Fuel economy?

I'm averaging 14.7 mpg right now. It's a 4.5 mile drive one way in traffic to work. And I got a lead foot if I have an opening to pass slower traffic. And guess what? I dont give a f**k because I didn't buy this car for fuel economy. And even if I had ASS, I wouldn't use it these conditions because thats waaay too much starting and stopping for my comfort. Plus I know it gets in the 23-25 mpg range while cruising on the highway and I'm great with that.

For the record I'm not anti EV, or hybrid, or even start stop. My wife has a new Tucson hybrid and it's great. But on an ICE sports car like a GT or higher trim level Mustang, it's just an out of place nuisance. I am so fortunate I got a '24 without it.

Well I never, a Pom without a sense of humour. Whatever next?
I haven't the time, or inclination to argue with strangers on the interweb.
Don't read my posts. It'll be hard on me, but I'll get over it.
Cheerio.
