It seems that nobody inside Ford has a single idea of what's going on, which is perhaps why the fix is taking so long. I guess we'll just be surprised one day when it comes out.

Yep, pretty much. I'll give it this week and then I might reach out to Paul Maric again next week if nothing happens. Not that it would make a difference seeing he can clearly just be fed false info as well, but we will see if anything new comes to light.

This is consistent with what my dealer told me on the phone, so it seems like the dealers got an official message.

I have booked my 2.4mth/3000km complimentary service for the 24th Feb, so it will be out buy then and I will get the update at the same time.

I ended up reaching out to Paul again and mentioned that the fix is still not available.

Lets see if we get anything new when Paul comes back from his trip with Ford.

FYI all, I just got this message from my dealer:

Yeah i just got a call from my dealer, they confirmed this message from Ford. There's no exact date of release, just end of month. Its looking a bit more promising.

Just dropped by my dealer. I mentioned what y'all said above about the message to the dealers and he told me Ford said that last month and here we are. So it honestly could come in March but who knows if some miracle happens we will get it soon.

The Ford Maverick apparently has a similar recall as that screen just freezes and they both will get updated at the same time. He was also saying if this was an F150 it would be updated in a week. He sent an email and also is going to call them again today and let me know what they say.

On the bright side, I've been test-driving all their vehicles. I get a new one every like week or 2 lol

Potentially good news guys, I just checked ford’s website for the recalls and they changed it… it now says “software is available to fix your vehicle.” Does this mean it’s now released? Thanks.

Great news guys, called my dealer about this message and, after initially blowing it off, he ran my VIN, and.... the fix is actually out!! He's attempting to get with his manager and expedite my repair to be the same day on Monday. We're finally here boys!

EDIT: This is for FORD US, which means AU is likely on the way very very soon if not already.
