I feel i need to say something to cheer your guys up and hopefully keep you hanging in there. We all know Ford America doesn't give a shit about the Australian market, but with the number of 2024/2025 Mustangs making it to the roads in Australia you really do feel like someone special when you're out and about, today two dudes delivered a new washing machine to my house and where super excited to see the car, so I turned it on put it into sports mode and revered it, the look on their faces was priceless, cheer up this will be you very soon.
Ford doesnt care about the American market either 🤣😭

Almost all information on this recall is thanks to you guys and the info Ford AU is putting out

If only our information was a bit more accurate 😋

On a serious note, I have actually wondered if its Ford US really letting Ford AU down here. Like maybe those dates we had, were given from Ford US to Ford AU, and then those dates werent met by Ford US. Who knows.

Despite there being so many Mustang's on the road, both S550 and S650 now, its nice to see they still turn heads. What other car under $100k can do that?

I had an A/C guy here last week and he immediately noticed the car in the garage, even knew it was the S650. On Monday, I had a group of young lads craning their neck to get a look while I was sitting at a red light. And getting back in the car at the supermarket, I caught another young guy beaming at the sight and sound of the car. I remember that feeling well as I was once the same, a young guy watching older guys driving special cars and wishing that my father had an interest in cars too.

I said this about my S550, but as a relatively shy person who is usually found hiding in the background, owning a Mustang is in no way an introverted experience. I feel so bad for all those continuing to wait for their cars that were built nearly 6 months ago now. Stay strong.

Although inaccurate, the fact that Ford insiders are discussing a dealer release of the fix is a good sign that we should be nearing the end here.

Hey guys, I'm back with another update. I got this after really giving my dealer a hiding this morning and forcing them to chase down someone at Ford AU for an update. Moments after getting this info via my dealer, another contact from the other side of the country got very similar info to me from a completely different source inside Ford AU. So as in the past, I'm just sharing what I'm being told. We've been wrong plenty of times, so take this for what it is...

Apparently Ford AU are indeed waiting on the fix to come from Ford US. This has obviously been delayed hence the slipping previous dates. The update and documentation is expected to arrive today or tomorrow. When this happens it needs to go through the AU legal team and they review the bulletin and instructions for AU standards before releasing the bulletin to dealers. According to both sources its expected to happen sometime next week now. Hopefully early next week.

Again, salt people, take lots of it!

Exactly what I thought a little earlier. If they keep telling us next week every week, sooner or later it won't be a lie. You know what they say about broken clocks 😁

Does this imply that we should expect to see a fix from Ford US possibly this week?

Logically speaking I would expect people in the US to get it first, but who knows with Ford.

I just called my dealer to see what’s going on and they said it could be another month at least. I don’t know who’s right or who’s wrong but this is getting infuriating.

Dealer: "When are we going to get the fix?
Ford: "Tell em Thursday, but just don't tell which Thursday!"

Will this be the week? 🤞
I trust no one anymore so if you ask me, it won't be this week. I'd be ecstatic to be wrong! 😁

It seems that nobody inside Ford has a single idea of what's going on, which is perhaps why the fix is taking so long. I guess we'll just be surprised one day when it comes out.
