Morning all from NZ, some good news on the 24c35 recall. My car was in the recall and was on hold like others. My dealer had Ford nz undertake the software fix to my vehicle about a week ago and I picked it up yesterday. RTR spec 2 in race red. Loving it already

Just spoke to my Dealer about booking in for the 3000k checkup and they still don’t have the software update to fix this.
Strange that they have been able to fix the cars on the dock, but not the ones already on the road.

Yeah, so much for the fix coming out last week, perhaps Paul was talking with NZ Ford PR.
I reached out to my dealer yesterday via email, no answer yet.

All they could tell me was "wait for the letter from Ford..."

If I waited for all the letters from Ford, I still wouldn't have my car...

Got an answer back from my dealer. Ford has a fix for the recall which is being rolled out to current inventory in Fords possession. Dealers don't have access to the update, nor have they been told when they will. They expect soon but no concrete date.

Hi, this might right. My dealer had my rtr spec2 held in ford ownership until it was cleared and the all the other market stuff done quickly once the update done and ‘released’.

I don't have much info about why the fix wasn't released this week, only that the next estimate is that dealships should get it on the 29th.

Of course, like before, this information is NOT OFFICIAL! Take it for what it is. I'm merely sharing what I've been told by someone who has a contact at Ford. (Not Paul)

If we don't have a fix by end of next week, I'll hit up Paul again and see if we can get more information.
