Approach Detection with Welcome/Farewell Exterior Lighting"

I purchased 2024 Mustang GT 301A package. Is there a way I can program the welcome/farewell lighting? or not?

Via Forscan. What bothers me is how many folks find the welcoming functions, may I say... Hateful! They're certainly nice if you don't have a lit garage, or you want to tell if someone is lurking around your ride. Puzzles me.

Only the keyholder can activate the lights. Not a random guy lurking around your car.

I kinda like it! I like being greeted when I approach my car in a dark parking lot or even my garage!

Forscan? Will it show my step by step on how to program it to my car?

Forscan consist of a piece of hardware, software, and knowing what area you gonna change. Not all OBDII hardware work properly for Forscan. I am not sure but software also is not free.

You can turn those lights on from about 75 feet from your car. Unless you're blind, you can certainly tell if anyone is near it.

I got it to work by flashing the bright lights 5 times and the brake pedal 3 times. Then wait for the battery picture on the dash to flash. Then drive the car briefly.
That also gets the interior lights working when you open the door with the ignition not on
