I will say it happens when driving regularly with car in gear. Nothing special for example.

All I do is troubleshoot electronics and computers so i always start with removing different factors to narrow the problem down.Im not sure if the trans is downshifting when this clunk happens. Putting in Neutral is an excellent idea that I cant believe i didn't try myself.. That might have helped diagnose what's happening? Don't know how exactly though? If it didn't clunk when in neutral it would mean it's not a driveline issue?

I see what Ford was doing. While it is a lot more money for what you get, I wanted the horse. I like the logo. It doesn't make a car though.
I took delivery 2 days ago. I'm not disappointed with my choice. Was it expensive, yes, but it's what I wanted. The GT with the PP is an excellent value and is a good way to save a boatload of cash.. You get a beautiful car. I think many go in that direction. Average age for a GT buyer is 30 to 37. Add about 10 yrs for the DH. Of course family and kids are also a big factor. We don't have kids.
I'm probably in the minority. I bought an automatic and I doubt I'll ever track the car. I sold my STI. I'm also getting rid of my LGT. We've got an RX500h for practicality and a DH for fun. Wife can't drive a stick, especially one with 500HP. Im happy with the car.
I have a DH with a stick. Quite honestly it is the easiest stick shift car I have ever driven. Almost feels like cheating to be honest…so easy to drive. Let my 18 yo Daughter drive it when I first brought it home and she made the same comment. Very forgiving and a ton of nanny features (anti roll back, gives a little gas when you let out the clutch, almost impossible to stall…) that make it super easy to drive even for a novice (like my daughter)I started researching Mustangs in eary 2025. Makes sense, I understand. I'm sure with a little practice she would do fine driving. Where she wouldn't do ok is parallel parking. The car doesn't have a forward facing camera and the maneuvering with the clutch wouldn't end well. I've had my fill of 4, 5 and 6 speeds. Although I'm not communing much anymore, I want convenience. Less fatigue and more comfort. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate the fun factor of a manual transmission. It's the best way to be connected to your car. But... So they are lubricating the output shaft on mine for the clunk. Will report back when I get horse back.Yes i will. I think the driveline clunk is the anti-tinq ring thing that a few other forum members has had fixed, they put grease on the anti-tinq ring and it seems to fix the clunk. Maybe the vibration in the floorboard is from that somehow? Maybe magnaride is faulty? Im just speculating here though. Build date may 2025, automatic transmission, clunk started around 5,600 miles or so, now has 6,570.

This is so true. I've driven cars that have the lane assist feature but never owned one until now. Granted I haven't logged much time in the DH yet, but I did notice it when I was leaving town the other day. I was on a long uphill with a sweeping turn and it kept pulling me into the center of the lane. One of the best parts to the Mustang is the ability to turn most of those driver assist things off and they stay off. I had an M2 on my list and you need to turn that crap off every time you start the car and they are of course buried in the menus.
