Anyone get PPF from factory or had your mustang wrapped?

full xpel 10 mil PPF did the hood 1 piece on most dark horses i see people cutting out the stripes to keep them matt putting the gloss PPF over them makes them glossy one guy thought i got the painted stripes because of it.

I was curious about this. Putting PPF on top of the vinyl. Aren't you concerned when it comes time to replace your PPF that the vinyl will come with it?

It's going to be 10+ years and the vinyl is easily replace/replicated the most that will be missing is it saying dark horse if it has to be recreated

I couldn't agree more. This morning, I waxed my new Mustang with a Meguire's product I've been using for years and it looks great considering the mediocre at best, quality of the paint job Ford produces....it isn't the greatest around.

Effective marketing has convinced a lot of people they need to spend a lot of money to do the same thing a good wax job will do. I'll clay bar my car next time and it will look great. I'm not so lazy that I need to spend a lot of money to have someone else detail my car. Some people pay other people to mow their lawns and I don't. Things like that allow me to stay out of debt (I paid cash for my Mustang) and that, in and of itself, is one of the best feelings there is. I am a slave to no man and my car looks great to boot!

Yes. But I did not add it to my build.
Thinking of putting it on after delivery.

All the things you said I believe most of us would agree with, as young whippersnappers. Once you retire and get into your 70"s, things and attitudes change. All the years of abusing your body, one way or another, comes back to haunt you. It becomes more difficult to do the things you've always done and takes longer for the body to recover. I've lived a good and rewarding life, now I can relax and reap the hard earned benefits and let the young whippersnappers take on some of the burdens. If that's being lazy...so be it, I earned it.
