Just randomly checked my front bumper and saw my ‘air vent’ was loose. I know 100% I haven’t hit anything on the road but I do drive fast so maybe the wind resistance made it come loose? How easy (or not?) would it be to remove the bumper and put it back into place

The front bumper is fairly easy to remove... lots of youtube videos. You may be able to reach in from the fender well and put back in place. Jack up and remove tire, then take out some screws and clips in fender liner, enough to reach in there. May be worth a try,,, as even though removing the bumper is easy, there is always risk of paint damage, so I try to avoid it.

What splitter is installed? And could that installation have affected the vents mounts?

Cool assumption. Something most certainly could have made contact with it.

It's interesting how the bottom of the vent appears to be properly in place but the one side is WAY out of position. Warranty fix?

Mine did it while washing it. Just lifted it took the front wheel off and pulled the fender liner back to do it. Kinda a pain as you have to push and pull while also pressing in on the bumper to get the tabs to line up. 3 hands would have been better lol.

I've had this issue happen quite a few times on my Grabber blue GT Fastback. You pretty much line the clips up and pull it back into place. I haven't removed the bumper yet to find a permanent solution but it does happen at least once a month. Starting to wonder if it's a grabber blue defect🤔

Just had this happen again for like the 10th time and now idk if the vent clips or the bumper inserts are bent too much that they don’t align, anyone have this happening still or a permant fix?

My car's been 150 so speed and wind resistance that isn't causing it. The "Legos parts don't alway fit.
