Anyone else still doing a strict 1,000-mile break-in period? Or am I in the minority?

Am I part of a dying breed here worried about break-in?

Anyone do the fumoto valve on the mustangs?
Getting past the under carriage cover is a bigger issue than the drain plug for me. For those doing oil changes every 3-5K it might be worth it.

Ford also recommended BP for the S197, but I generally topped up with Chevron. Mine is sitting at 200k miles with no major repairs

Fumoto does make a nice piece of kit. I'm using one on another vehicle.

If you have not already purchased, you might look at UPR's offerings. Theirs is the same concept of controlling the flow, but UPR's are magnetic.

Can't go wrong with either choice.
