Nitto’s are an amazing tire??
Have you had Michelins or Continental summer tires to compare to?
I have indeed! Had continentals on some previous Mustangs, Michelin’s on my AMG Mercedes. Those tires wore out fast. These NT555 G2 are great!!!

BTW, I might ask you the same question…. have you had these specific NT555 G2 tires on any of your vehicles?

My question is why a raptor bronco over a raptor ranger? We sold my wifes non raptor bronco and ordered a ranger raptor. 2 big things we couldn't resolve on the bronco. Interior noise from hardtop. And 90 mph in 30 mph winds can be miserable when getting knocked back and forth. Ranger solves both. It may have been worth it if we ever thought we'd remove the top.

Yes, I had them on my 15gt.
Had a bad belt in one of them that made me nuts trying to find out what it was, changed out brakes and everything before figuring it out.
I found them scary to drive in rain or below 40. Compound was very hard.
Switched to Continental DW sports on that same car and was amazed how much better it was in every aspect

Have they done anything to make them better 10 years later?
While the original NT555 has been around for decades, the G2 (Generation 2) variant was introduced to provide better wet/dry handling and, was marketed as a "next-generation" tire around 2020.

I’ve always used Nittos on trucks, as well, as I found them to be a great off-road tires. I’ve had Pilot Sports on many cars over the years, different variations of them, most recently on my C8, Pilot Sport 4S, same tires on my Cadillac Blackwing. Like them, don’t love them, but they definitely do the job. Just don’t last as long for my taste.

I’ve always used Nittos on my trucks as well, all the different variations of Grapplers, as well as I found them to be a great.
I've ordered cars, and bought them off the lot. Funny, the ones I loved the most were off the lot at the end of the year sale. Either way, you'll never miss the money once it's spent.

Traded my '24 None HP, Temec DH on a Bronco Raptor for my wife, last August, and now am looking at getting back into HP DH in the next month. I feel like the DH-SC is going to be realluy sweet, but I also realize there is going to be the challenge of dealer mark-ups, and the waiting game. I can get into a Handling Pack, Tremec DH with painted stripes for $76k, and the SC is probably going to start at $110k, plus dealer MU. At 61 years old, I am not getting younger, and time is flying by. Love the 6 speed, and the DH has plenty of power for me...So my question is mostly answered, but am I missing more in the SC than just power. Am I being foolish buying hte DH now?
Incentives g pi Ng on right now through the end of March so I would suspect you should not find dealer markups

I would ask which Michelins and Contis you had that were wearing out too fast?

Pilot sport 4S on my C8 and Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing. I had both. Pilot sport/super sport as well as Continental Conti Sport Contacs on my 2017 Mercedes-Benz AMG C63
Have you tried Conti Extreem Sport contact 2s?

For the record, I judge a tire by how well in performs and rides. Wear is a secondary factor on a sports car for me. That said Ive never found Michelin PS4s or Conti EC2s to wear quickly.

Yes, I have, on my 2015/50th anniversary Mustang GT. Had those Continental extreme sport contacts… lets just say, not a fan!

I too judge a tire by how it performs and rides and so far, these Nittos I put on my DH with HP are awesome. Enjoy them way more than the pilot sport 4S, pilot super sports orthe Continentals

All that being said, have tried all the tires you mentioned and they don’t do it for me. Have you tried the Nittos NT555 G2??
Regardless, different strokes for different folks. Enjoy!
