Just sharing this for any others that are interested. I started talking to @PonyKing who developed an alternative to the DIYvan fender hole covers. He is from Germany but does ship to Australia for +- $150 AUD.
What kept me from buying the DIYvan kit was that I wasn't convinced about using the glue/JB-Weld method. It just felt a little hacky to me.
This install seems really simple to me and is 100% reversible. At the moment PonyKing is having some issues with his Mustang7G account. Hopefully sorted soon. In the meantime, you can email [email protected] if interested. I've ordered my kit and will post some photos and thoughts in my other thread (https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/my-mustang-journey.164020/) when the product arrives and I install it.

@bfets ..... your patch looks fine.....but there is absolutely no problem with the JB Weld. That product is super easy to use and will never let go. The material would let go some where else before the patch itself let go and the best part is that the DIYvan.com patch becomes part of the liner and comes off with it if the fender liner has to be removed. After a week or so of driving you can't even see where the patch is as road grime obscures the "fix". There are a dozen Mustang owners near me who have all used the DIYvan.com patch and everyone loves it. I have been using JB Weld for decades. It is one of the best mixed epoxies anywhere for marine, automotive even aircraft - never heard a negative report about it. Good luck with your choice - if it works anywhere near as well as Hein's (DIYvan.com) product you will be happy.
